I am from Deoria UP, I am planning to install Water pump for irrigation completely solar based. since sun hours are around 12 hours days.. it would be suitable to try for one Here is my question. 1. What are things need to setup (lile panel, battery etc).. 2. what would be cost? 3. How long does it lats any annual maintenance etc. Thanks Chandra

Solar powered water pump for irrigation is now being widely used in UP. If you want to make your own setup then you would need: 1. AC Pump (If DC/Regular than a AC to DC converter) 2. Solar Panels 3. Charge Controller 4. Battery Our solar panels have upto 20 years of warranty (this varies). Other components have standard life. Cost will depend on load of the water pump.
